The survey
The worker geo-tags plant and records what feeds it; the owner wires the rest on the desktop. From the Home tiles a worker records a FAT, an OBD, a coupler or a closure, and the sheet asks for the feeder, nearest box first. Every pin carries how good the fix was and who placed it. Writes are live, with an audit trail, and there is no approval queue.
Locating a subscriber pins an ONU. The sheet asks only what your billing book cannot already answer. A customer picker searches the book as you type, never showing a phone number or an address, and links on the spot. Search finds customers by username, name, phone or MAC, and matching on a phone number never shows one. A person row opens the same profile the desktop shows, with Navigate first and the same four router buttons the owner has. See TR-069 ACS.
Photos
A photograph of the box in the street, and of the box in the house. Camera first, gallery beside it. Shots stay inside the app and never land in the phone's gallery. A photo is never required, and a failed upload never loses the record. See fibre plant records.
Shifts, tracking and attendance
Tracking runs on shift only. Pressing Start starts the tracker, pressing End stops it. If location is switched off mid-shift the app warns, then ends the shift and says why. A tracker that has gone silent is shown as quiet, and quiet is the alarm.
The record is the owner's. The day's trail is kept 7 days, then folded into a day summary of movement, hours and battery with no locations in it. Each worker's newest position survives, so you get one standing point per person and never an old trail. Workers do not see each other's location. On the map a worker is a mark with initials, and hovering shows that one person's day.
Attendance is the button press alone: present, late or absent, against the times you set. Location never decides it, so a phone that killed the tracker cannot become an absence. Each worker has a weekly off day, and the owner can mark leave, holiday or present. A forgotten shift is closed at midnight and says so. The morning nudge comes from the app itself, and a person still presses Start.
The crew, updates and the shell
A worker's profile joins their shifts, day summaries, the pins, photos, splices and drops they recorded, their phone and app version, and the devices they answer for with the alarm state of each. All of it is owner-only. Updates come from your own central and are forced, so no worker sits on an old version.
Every role gets the mobile shell on a phone. A worker's tabs are Home, Map, Issues, Me; an owner's are Home, Hub, Map, Issues, Me. The owner's Home is a launcher plus one card: all quiet, or how many need a response. The bill counts ONUs and monitored devices, not phones or workers. See pricing.
What it does not do
- Android only, sideloaded from your own central, not from an app store.
- Tracking runs only during a declared shift. A tracker a worker killed stays dead until somebody taps.
- Workers see no attendance verdicts, not even their own, and never a crew member's location.
- No push notifications; WhatsApp remains the only alert channel.
- Distance moved is a floor, never an odometer.
- A shift that runs across midnight is cut at midnight.
- A worker never sets what matches a customer to an ONU. That is fixed centrally.
