HansaNet is your TR-069 ACS. The subscriber's ONT or router shows up on their profile, beside what the OLT and the billing book say. It is a support and provisioning surface, not a monitor.
The router on the subscriber's page
Once your OLT points its routers at HansaNet, each subscriber's router appears under their name. You see the WAN line in the router's own words, the WiFi, the LAN, the make and model, and how many devices are in the house. Owners see those devices listed; everyone else sees the count.
Every router reads as heard, stale or never. A router that has never called says the likely reason. A router behind a dark ONU is frozen rather than reported missing. Where the PPPoE username on the line differs from the billing account's, a tag says so and nothing is changed.
Pointing your OLT at HansaNet is a short one-time setup, which we do with you.
What you can change
Four buttons sit on the profile: Reboot, Change WiFi, Change WAN and Refresh. Reboot asks you to confirm the house by name first. The WiFi password field is write-only. It is never filled in and never shown back.
Change WAN edits the line the router actually runs: the PPPoE username and password, routed or bridged, DHCP or static, the VLAN, the static address, NAT on or off. A field the router will not accept is refused and says so. Every edit is written into the audit in plain words with the old value beside the new one, so a technician can put a line back the way it was.
Field staff have the same four buttons on the phone, for a router behind an ONU they are assigned. See the field app.
Coverage and secrets
The survey page shows how many of your ONUs have a router talking to HansaNet, and which routers are heard, stale or never. Makes and models are listed with how much of each we can read today. Where a model reads poorly, tell us and we add it.
The router's ACS password is kept encrypted. WiFi passwords and the PPPoE password are never stored, never read back, and never printed in an audit line. There is no separate ACS charge. It is part of the per-ONU price. See pricing.
What it does not do
- It is not monitoring. A router dark while its ONU is up never pages and never changes an outage. That stays with outage detection.
- No firmware push and no factory reset.
- A line cannot be converted between PPPoE and IP. The request is refused.
- The PPPoE password can be set, never read back. A wrong one is fixed at the ONT.
- An edit reaches the router shortly after you save it, not the same second.
- The router's own light reading is planned, not built. The OLT's reading is the figure of record. See optical monitoring.
- Matching a customer to their ONU from the router, install-day provisioning and tests run from the router are planned, not built.
