ONU optical power and PON fault detection

See the light level of every ONU on every OLT you run. When a PON goes dark, HansaNet tells you whether it is a fibre cut or a power cut, so the right person goes out, or nobody does.

Every ONU's light, on one screen

HansaNet keeps the full ONU roster of each OLT, with receive and transmit power beside every ONU and 30 days of history behind it. A weak drop shows up as a falling line long before the customer calls.

A number on the screen is a number the OLT really measured. A reading that has gone old is marked as old. A sensor that has died shows as unmeasured, never as a healthy or a critical value. A blank column always says why it is blank.

It works on OLTs that publish optical power over SNMP and on several that do not. The OLT pages say what you get on each family.

When a PON goes dark: fibre cut or power cut

When a group of subscribers on one PON drops together, HansaNet makes the call. A fibre cut is raised on your dashboard, once, with the stretch of fibre to search where the OLT supports it. A power cut in the area is recorded and nobody is sent out.

Every call states what it was based on, so your team knows how far to trust it. On a few OLT families the call needs a short one-time setup, which we do with you.

Duplicate MACs and ONU search

Two live ONUs answering with the same MAC on one OLT is a fault, and HansaNet raises it on your dashboard. Old duplicates left behind by replaced boxes are listed apart as history.

Search finds an ONU by its MAC, its serial, the OLT's name for it, your field label or the linked billing customer. A MAC pasted with or without separators finds the same ONU.

Rs 3 per subscriber ONU a month, or Rs 100 per monitored device a month, whichever is larger. See pricing.
